- March 1 - GoAnimate introduces the character creator for Business Friendly and updates the camera user interface.
- July 16 - GoAnimate introduces new business account subscription plans and introduces the new Anime theme, which would become the first 16:9 theme for non-business users.
- August 1 - GoAnimate does updates with its Anime theme.
- August 21 - GoAnimate makes updates to its Sticky Business theme.
- September 10 - GoAnimate introduces new characters and more to its Sticky Business theme.
- September 25 - GoAnimate introduces an action preview to its Sticky Business theme.
- October 29 - GoAnimate unveils the Business Models theme again for its business users only.
